Our aim is to empower every woman to feel confident, comfortable, and in control of her body and her life.

When it comes to intimate health, having the right expertise is crucial. A Consultant Gynaecologist offers specialised experience in women’s health, providing unmatched knowledge and care. These professionals are trained to recognise a wide range of conditions and understand the unique changes they bring to a woman’s body and overall quality of life. With their expertise, they can accurately diagnose issues and guide you toward the most effective treatment plan, ensuring you receive personalised care from a highly qualified specialist.

At Self London, our intimate wellness services are led by Consultant Gynaecologist, Miss Smita Sinha, who brings a wealth of experience and a compassionate approach to patient care. Under her guidance, our team is dedicated to improving and maintaining your intimate health and well-being with the highest standard of medical care.

Our Intimate Wellness service is designed to address a variety of symptoms that can affect women at different life stages.

Prejuvenate

We recognise that symptoms such as urinary incontinence, vulval and vaginal dryness, and pelvic floor weakness can arise from various life stages, including pregnancy, childbirth, hormonal treatments, menopause, surgical procedures, and post-cancer therapies. We believe in a proactive approach to managing these symptoms as part of our comprehensive care plan.

Vulval/vaginal dryness and itching

At least 50% of women experience vulval and vaginal dryness and itching from menopause onwards. These symptoms can significantly impact comfort and quality of life, and we offer a range of treatments to address them effectively.

Mild urinary leakage

Around 40% of women may experience urinary leakage at some point in their lives, often related to childbirth, menopause, surgery, or general ageing. Our treatments are designed to help manage these symptoms and improve your quality of life.

Altered sexual satisfaction

Hormonal changes and other factors can affect sexual satisfaction. Our comprehensive approach includes various treatments to help enhance sexual health and enjoyment.

Pelvic floor and perineal weakness

Pelvic floor weakness can result from multiple factors, including childbirth, surgery, and menopause. We offer targeted therapies to strengthen the pelvic floor muscles and improve overall pelvic health.

What to expect during your initial appointment

Before your appointment, you will receive a pre-appointment questionnaire to help us better understand your concerns. On the day of your visit, you will have a 30-minute consultation with our Consultant Gynaecologist. During this time, we will review your concerns, conduct any necessary assessments, and discuss the most effective treatment plan tailored to your needs. Our goal is to provide a thorough, empathetic, and expert evaluation to support your intimate wellness journey.

Our treatments are designed to address a range of intimate health concerns.

Skincare

Tailored skincare solutions to address vulval and vaginal dryness, irritation, and other skin-related symptoms.

Hormonal Topical Treatments

These treatments can help manage symptoms associated with hormonal changes, such as dryness and thinning of the vaginal tissues.

Energy-Based Devices

Advanced devices like Emfemme and Emsella use electromagnetic energy to strengthen the pelvic floor muscles, improve urinary control, and enhance sexual function. These non-invasive treatments offer a holistic approach to managing menopause-related changes and support overall wellness.

Vulval Polynucleotides

Injectable treatments that promote tissue regeneration and hydration, helping to improve skin quality and comfort.

At Self London, we pride ourselves on offering a multidisciplinary approach to healthcare, integrating expertise from dermatology, gynaecology, and other specialties to provide comprehensive care. Our team works closely to develop personalised treatment plans that address all aspects of your intimate health and overall well-being.
